About Me:

My name is Simon Gilbu. im a (currently) 26 year old Software developer and consultant based in Tromsø, Norway.

During my day to day i study informatics at UiT The Norwegian Arctic University. And balance that with my role as owner and CEO of Torsk Development, a consultancy focused on helping corporate clients by developing tools to optimize workflows.

I think my main interest for computing stems from that childhood dream many of us had to create our own digital worlds, and i'll dabble here and there with game-development and related creative outlets. but my main focus the past 5 years has been in finding and creating small functional tools. the type of pragmatic thing that gets the job done, reliably, repeatedly, and corecctly.
